The 2011 competition is under way as of September 1st, 2010. For 2011, we will have 3 regions with 54 states (California, Florida and Texas are divided into multiple states plus DC) and our KWCUSA agents are now contacting venues. Make sure your establishment has been contacted by emailing your agent shown below. The goal for every venue competition should be to find the best talent to represent the United States of America at the 2011 Karaoke World Championships. This is certainly the goal of the KWCUSA organization. The 2011 World Competition will be held in Ireland in September.
How to use our Google Map below: To zoom in to find your state or venue on our Google Map, click the + in the upper left corner. You can click and drag the map to move it around to your state. You can also use the arrows to pan around. The - will zoom the view back out. You can alternatively click on the map and use the scroll wheel on your mouse, if it has one.
Venues can begin competitions starting in September and over any time period they wish as long as they are completed by the end of May. The cost is $250.00 until September 30th when it will go to $300.00, and this allows you to hold up to two competitions on as a truly authorized KWCUSA competition. Your venue's top males and top females are then eligible to compete at the next level or state championships depending on number of venues in your area.
We already have state venues for many states. You must qualify to hold state venue by signing up as local venue, have at least 150 capacity, and be willing to provide travel expenses for state winners to regional. Contact us at 866-610-7464 ext 900 if interested.
